About Me

Hi, I live outside of Atlanta, GA. I have been nuts about Gypsy Vanners/Cobs since 2002. Hubby and I were visiting Ireland and drove by a small field with about 30 chunky hairy piebald horses. I yelled "STOP! I need to look!" But you know men. He said we'll stop and look on the way back and of course, we went a different direction coming back. So first thing I did when I got home to GA was jump on the internet to try and find out what I'd seen.

I've loved horses my ENTIRE life but never had the opportunity to own one. In October 2010 my dream came true and I bought my first horse, a weanling Gypsy called Anthem. He's a Romany King baby and the love of my life! My husband calls him my boyfriend. We entered our first show last October. He came up lame the night before his halter class but I was able to show him in a color and pattern class where he won 6th out of 26 horses. After we were home his lameness became worse and he was diagnosed in November with OCD. We changed his diet and he has been resting ever since and is continuing to improve. We have set our sights on the first show of the season in April where we will surely win every class we enter :). We are going to drive as soon as he's old enough. I'm taking driving lessons right now so I'll be ready when the time comes.

no they are not twins, i fostered one of the foals onto a mare who had just given birth. i had to bottle feed the foal for a week as her birth mother rejected her. they are both weaned now & growing on nicely.
