Billy and Me! By Pip Sinclair.

Billy, milestones Mr.Bagings,is my little BYRDS (British Young Riders Dressage Scheme) cob. He is 12.2 hands in height ,I have had him a year and he is 6.

It all started when I went to Bishopton summer league and scored 75% ;my best score ever! It was a good day out and plenty of hugs were shared  between us.

The next competition was also Bishopton and beat the score I`d set ,witch was 74%/75%,I actually got 76.98% - it was enough to win me the championships my first sash on Bill !!

With being gobsmaced with what my little cob had to offer, I went to one of the British Dressage traning days at Holmeside Hall. I came home just thinking that I had had an average ride and took it in as a good experience for both me and the pony in a different environment. The next month I got a letter through the post saying I had qualified for the regional finals and for the BYRDS Northen region teams!

After all this I have just carried on with the equitations and training for the finals.

At home I love to ride before school and take Billy for a blast  round some jumps and do some pony club games with Mum and her Trad dressed in my onzie.

This is my`n and Billys story!

Poppy and Splash By Poppy Daly.

After TOYS Splash had a well earned rest.  We have had a quiet winter with a few showjumping shows and a few dressage shows, Splash was fantastic achieving very good scores, which we have given to Kellie Aldridge to go towards the TGCA dressage league!

We have a very busy time coming up.  We have joined British Dressage Young Riders Scheme (BYRDS) and we are also on team Rosecourt Rosies for the British Dressage team Quest.  This is a brilliant team league which is organised by British Dressage.  I am in a team of 4 and we will be competing every month in team events and hopefully our scores will be good enough to go through to the Team Quest regionals in October.  Splash is the only Traditional in our team!

Next month we are competing in a one day event at Arena UK, this will be our first ODE!  Next month is very busy as we also have a hunter trial booked into the show schedule, I love riding cross country on Splash he is an excellent lad.

Also in the schedule for Splash is a couple of sponsored rides, one of them is round part of the Burghley event course with the massive cross country jumps!

Splash just does everything I want to do, we just need to find somewhere to go Traditional Cob racing now!!

Love from Poppy (10 years old) and Splash (6 years old)
